Building A Real Tournament Foundation
Tournament poker has its own distinct logic — shifting stack depths, survival pressure, and pay-jump considerations that don’t exist in cash games. This course starts from those fundamentals, building a genuine understanding of how and why tournament strategy differs from cash play before layering in more advanced ICM and final-table concepts.

Topics include understanding stack-depth-dependent strategy shifts across a tournament’s stages, basic ICM principles and why survival equity matters, push/fold fundamentals for short-stack play, preflop and postflop adjustments for the deeper stacks found early in tournaments, and a foundation for more advanced final-table and bubble strategy covered in our other tournament courses.
