Mixed Games Poker Courses Advanced Multi Variant Training – Download & Study Collection

Mixed Games Poker Courses

Hold’em is one game among many. Mixed rotations – Omaha Hi-Lo, Stud, Razz, 2-7 Triple Draw, and bomb pots – reward players who can shift gears between formats instead of leaning on a single skill set. The two programs below are the deepest mixed-game training we carry, aimed at players who want to be dangerous outside standard NLHE.

Upswing – Mixed Games Mastery ⇒

A full-spectrum mixed-games curriculum covering Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud, and 2-7 Triple Draw, built around structured strategies you can carry into both tournaments and cash lineups.

Mastering Double Board Bomb Pots ⇒

A focused module on the double-board bomb pot format: how to size against split equity, when to apply pressure across two boards at once, and how to avoid the common overplay mistakes newer bomb-pot players make.

Why Bother With Mixed Games?

Mixed formats are where a lot of dead money sits. Most players only study Hold’em, so even a rough grasp of Stud, Razz, or Omaha Hi-Lo puts you ahead of the field the moment the rotation changes. It’s also where a large share of WSOP bracelets are handed out, since HORSE and Dealer’s Choice events draw a mixed-skill crowd rather than pure NLHE specialists.

What You’re Actually Learning

  • Omaha Hi-Lo (O8) – reading for scoops versus half-pots, and avoiding the trap of playing for only one side of the pot.
  • Seven Card Stud – tracking live cards, reading boards without a flop, and playing a patient, position-aware game.
  • Razz – low-hand discipline, where starting-hand selection matters more than in almost any other format.
  • 2-7 Triple Draw – standing pat, snowing, and reading draw patterns instead of hand strength on a board.
  • Double Board Bomb Pots – sizing and aggression across two simultaneous boards without overvaluing split equity.

Is This For You?

Mixed-game study makes the most sense if any of this sounds like you: you want a second skill set to fall back on when the table talk turns to HORSE, you’re eyeing bracelet events where non-Hold’em formats are common, you’re a cash grinder who wants an edge in the softer mixed-game pools, or bomb pots and rotation games are already a regular part of your home game.

Where To Go From Here

Most players treat mixed games as a supplement, not a replacement. Keep your NLHE fundamentals sharp with Poker Detox’s solver-backed systems, then rotate in mixed-game study a session or two per week so the less-common formats stay sharp without crowding out your main game.
